Great photos Gwen! When I saw them, I wondered and had to ask – were you inspired perhaps by Hallmark’s new program, “When Calls the Heart”? The last pic looks a lot like Mountie Jack. 🙂 You had written that wonderful piece about Dr. Quinn a while back. When Calls the Heart is almost as good. Just ruminating. 🙂 Thanks for your wonderful column. God bless.

Linda, I’m so thrilled that you passed this along. I wasn’t familiar with this series so I googled it and discovered their Facebook page. It looks like a beautiful series and one that I definitely want to watch. That the last Mounty resembled Jack is a coincidence.
I chose to feature Mounties in this series as a tribute to the three Mounties who were recently slain in Moncton New Brunswick. It was a tragic event that has saddened people across the country.
Also, thank you for continuing to follow along, Linda. Always great to hear from you.:)
